Live. Laugh. Love. Dance in the Kitchen.
Welcome! I am so thrilled that you stopped by. What I am about to write has been a long time coming. After months and months of planning, emails and meetings, I am finally able to show off my NEW website. WOW!
Last spring, I had coffee with my super talented friend Tori at Victoria Austin Designs. We talked about so many things including our goals for our professional and personal lives. I knew that after 5 years of owning this business that it was time for me to regroup and refresh. Thank you so much Tori for making all those crazy notes and ideas a reality. You are the best!
It's no secret that 2015 was a life-changing year for me. I lost my mother to brain cancer over the summer. It's just so weird writing that. Losing Mom was the hardest thing that I have ever gone through. We just had such a unique relationship. Mom and I both are strong and independent women, but also we are full of faith and love. I love so deeply. I just naturally gravitate toward positive energy. I think this is one reason why God placed me here. He knows. I never would have imagined that Dragonfly would become what it is today. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude and love for those who have stood by my side. Mom was the one who said...get out there and do what you love. "God's got this".
I am one of those lucky girls who is married to a man who truly loves me. Trust me. He has seen the good, the bad and the ugly AND he is still here. He puts up with my crazy ADHD self. I always have an idea or project that I want to work on. I just cannot help it. Some may call it "crazy", but my sister says...it's called passion. I like that so much better.
into the mystic
My goals for this year are simple.
Live. Laugh. Love & Dance in the Kitchen.
I want to live my life each day with joy and gratefulness. I want to laugh that big deep, tears coming out of your eyes kinda laugh. I want to love like I have never loved before and enjoy every single warm hug and kiss and of course dance in the kitchen. One of my favorite things to do. If "Into the Mystic" ever comes on, my husband better stop whatever he is doing and dance with me. Ha. Like I will pull over on the side of the road to dance if that song comes on. (Passion)
This is a big step for me, but I am going to streamline my work so that I can give the best to my clients and to my family. I will primarily be photographing weddings and senior portraits. I am beyond excited to see what the future holds. 2016 is going to be such an awesome year. I have so many new plans lined up for my clients and cannot wait to give you the best experience here at Dragonfly Photography. Everything is going to be more me. I want to write about so many different things and share so many beautiful images with you. There is beauty in everything.
So, to celebrate this big day I have a little treat in store for you. I have teamed up with Victoria Austin Designs to offer one lucky couple a FREE styled engagement session along with a complimentary Save-the-Date design!!
